Mariluz Toro-Rochefeuille

After several years as a Spanish and French teacher, I now work as a freelance translator. I hold a degree in Applied Foreign Languages (AFL) (French-English-Spanish) from the University of Antioquia (Medellín), a Master’s Degree in Iberian and Latin American Studies from the University of Paris X, and a Master’s Degree 2 in legal and financial translation from the University of the Sorbonne, Paris 3. I have worked with an official French-Spanish translator for 6 months and handled many sworn translations. As a Colombian who has been living in France for fifteen years, I have extensive knowledge of the specific features of both countries and their languages.

Maria Luisa Peñalva Vélez

I have a degree in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Navarre (Spain) and a Phd in Iberian and Latin American Studies from the University of Paris X. I also hold a Master’s Degree 2 in legal and financial translation from the University of Sorbonne (Paris 3) and have been working as a freelance translator for the past few years. My aim is to combine accuracy of meaning, appropriateness of wording, and my knowledge in the field of communication to provide the highest quality translation and interpretation services, with attention to the linguistic, cultural, and institutional specificities of the interlocutors.

Marie-Christine Sabathé

I have always had a real passion for translation, which I see as a vector of communication between cultures.
A training in International Trade at the ISIT (Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction) and a Master’s Degree in business economy enabled me to initiate my professional career in the agrifood sector. I then spent five years in Spain, where I had the opportunity to work as a trilingual translator for a translation agency and other companies. On returning to France, I established myself as a freelance translator, and have built up a loyal customer base among a wide range of communication agencies and companies in various sectors, including the agrifood and telecommunications sectors, where there is a demand for commercial, marketing, and technical translations. Likewise, I have provided a number of translations on biodiversity conservation for the UN. Although I specialise in translating from Spanish and English into French, twenty years’ experience providing quality translations to companies have enabled me to form a network of professional, qualified translators specialising in other language combinations.
